A Wisconsin native, Kaitlin Klemencic graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University with a double degree in Theater Performance and Secondary Education.
After graduating, she ventured to New York City where she was able to pursue both of her passions for 3 years. Kaitlin worked as a nanny for a wonderful family, partook in various theatrical workshops and performed in cabarets and acting scenes across the city.
In the fall of 2015, Kaitlin moved to the Twin Cities where she continues to nanny and act. She has performed in multiple productions with the Gilbert and Sullivan Very Light Opera Company, including their summer concert series at The Lake Harriet Bandshell. She has also appeared as "Amy" in Stephen Sondheim's Company, "The Baker's Wife" in Into the Woods (Shoot The Glass Theater), "Hermia" in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Sh!t Faced Shakespeare), and was most recently welcomed into The Haunted Basement family for their 2018 production.
You can currently catch her onstage as the feisty "Janet Murchison" in Theatre Elision director Lindsay Fitzgerald's production of The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church, running March 22-April 7 at the Phipps Center in Hudson, Wisconsin.
